Army Data Strategic Goals

VAULTIS Principles and Goals

1. Make data a strategic asset for the Army

2. Improve the availability and usefulness of data

3. Improve the effectiveness of information sharing across      the Army

The Army of 2030 will be fueled by data and data analytics. Soldiers will need the right data, at the right time, and the     right place to enable faster and better decisions at each echelon - to out-think and out-pace any adversary.

The Army is evolving its culture, not only to embrace data       for decision making, but to assist in its generation and      quality control.

VAULTIS Goals

Data that is visible, accessible, understandable, linked, trusted, interoperable and secure improves information sharing for decision-making advantage.

Army leaders should not pass up opportunities to capture information of value to others but rather obtain and pass useful information for the greater good.
